Kimball is a city in Kimball County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 2,559 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Kimball County.
Kimball is located in the southwestern corner of the Nebraska Panhandle, and bills itself literally as the “The High Point of Nebraska!”. In fact, Panorama Point is 5,424 feet above sea level, and is marked by a small monument located just outside of the town.
